Paul Wilbur to perform live in India for first time

Internationally acclaimed Gospel singer Paul Wilbur will be performing live in Bangalore and Chennai this week.

The American singer-songwriter will be performing at the 'The Days of Elijah' concert on June 18 at Palace Grounds, Bangalore, organised by Sanctuary Music.

Paul Wilbur is an Integrity Music recording artist and the founder of Wilbur Ministries. Some of his popular albums include Up To Zion, Shalom Jerusalem, Lion Of Judah, Holy Fire and Praise Adonai.

"This is Wilbur's first visit to India. He is truly excited as he was prophesied on this visit 10 years back. He will be travelling with Integrity Music, a top independent label in Christian music," said Ebenezer John, Director of Sanctuary Music.

A 100-member choir and a 63-member worship dance team has been trained for the event in Bangalore. Over 5000 people are expected to join the concert.

"Sanctuary Music is an organisation that trains and promotes local talent. This is also an opportunity for us to perform with an international artist," said John.

He added, "Through this event we want to unite churches. We want to inspire and encourage youth through music and worship. We want people to be blessed by the music and testimony of these world-renowned Gospel artists."

The choir team as a matter of fact has been handpicked by a panel of judges after an audition of people from across the country.

Wilbur, who has written songs such as Praise Adonai, Blessed Are You and It Is Good, is currently on a world tour. He would be reaching India from Dubai and after which he would be visiting Sri Lanka.
