
Church in Pakistan has raised funds for two communities by organizing family programs at the United Reform Church Grimsby.
British Pakistani Christian Association (BPCA) organized the fund raising events, including children speaking about famous people, places and events of Pakistan, folk song performance and traditional dance, adults and couples dressing up in colorful regional attire, jewelry stalls and food stalls.
Children between the ages of five to 15 years performed in front of the families Some of them spoke of Abdul Sattar Edhi—for his innumerable charity works all over the world—and cricket player Imran Khan.
According to Grimbsy Telegraph, considerable amount was raised from the events. A cheque of £500 was presented to St Andrews Hospice children's wing and an amount of £1,580 was given to Child Protection and Rehabilitation Trust, a UK charity for the rehabilitation of Pakistani street children.
