Two Gospel for Asia-supported film team members are reported as missing on the mission field. Tanvir Sarin and Gandhik Chopra were traveling to different villages, sharing the love of Jesus by showing a movie about His life.
In the village where they were last seen on May 5, the men told local church members they were going to report in to the GFA office in their state. The believers helped them get on the bus that afternoon. But the men never arrived at the office. GFA workers have not been able to get through to their mobile phone, either.
A GFA leader traveled to the area where the men had been ministering, searching all the villages for them. But even after three days of searching, he was unable to find them.
There is no news of these workers' whereabouts yet, but a police report has been filed for investigation.
Many in South Asia have found hope through the ministry of the film teams. Given that these film teams often face harassment and even physical beatings for sharing Christ's love in areas where His name is just now being proclaimed, the situation for these two brothers could be very serious.
GFA leaders ask for your fervent prayers for Tanvir and Gandhik, for the Lord's protection over them and their film equipment, and that they soon would be found safe.
