Prayer Tower launched in capital to pray for the nation

The Jesus Calls Ministry on Saturday inaugurated its 'National Prayer Tower' to pray for the nation round the clock.

The dedication ceremony of the Prayer Tower at the Church of North India headquarters in New Delhi was attended by the Archbishop of Delhi, Rev. Vincent Concessao; Bishop Dr M Ezra Sargunam of the Evangelical Church of India; Rev. Abraham of the Indian Pentacostal Church and Rev. Thomas Philip from the Mar Thoma Church.

Located in the vicinity of Indian Parliament, the Prayer Tower will have "full time prayer warriors who will pray all through the 24 hours for the nation and its leaders".

"Our nation needs righteous leadership, those who can surrender before God and bring healing in the lives of people through their actions. The prayer warriors will pray for the leaders of this nation, Members of Parliament, and those involved in the government machinery," said Dr. Paul Dhinakaran, head of the Chennai-based ministry and the founder of Karunya University.

"The prayer tower is open to heaven and heaven will open to us. Just like how Joseph got the revelation to save his people, God will appoint people here who would pray for His will to happen," he added.

"God's hand will be upon the nation and the laws of the nation. Our government must be righteous and there should be no obstruction for the government to bring prosperity to all people."

Paul was instrumental in establishing Jesus Calls 'Prayer Towers' throughout the globe in 7 countries and all over India where Prayer Intercessors offer dedicated prayers all the 24 hours for thousands of people.

"Till now the love and compassion flowed to the people through the Jesus Calls Ministry. In the coming days along with that the Prophetic and Apostolic Ministry which would prepare the world for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ would also begin in the ministry," said Paul.

A beautiful Chapel functions in the Prayer Tower premises to facilitate the visitors to meditate the Word of God and to pray. The Prayer Tower also houses a bookstore

The Dhinakarans apart from the Jesus Calls operates a non-profit organisation and a multilingual Christ-centered television channel.
