Tamil Nadu will be the new home for over a hundred of children who were orphaned during the recent Orissa violence.
At least 150 such girls will have a new home in Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore.
"All support and help should be given to girls. They are the ones who are going to lead the country," said one of the girls.
"We have schools and colleges meant just for orphan girls. From LKG to Ph D they can pursue whatever they want," said Michael Job, a philanthropist.
According to reports, still over 40,000 Christians are in relief camps after Hindu radicals burned their homes and properties during the August violence.
Many of them are still traumatized, and some being continually threatened to reconvert to Hinduism.
Fearing more violence, over 500 Christians have migrated to Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, where the government has assured safety.
