'New Birth or Rebirth; Jesus Talks with Krishna' by Ravi Zacharias

Renowned Christian apologist and evangelist, Ravi Zacharias, new book titled 'New Birth or Rebirth? Jesus Talks with Krishna' carries an intricate comparison and insightful dialogue between Jesus and Krishna, a deity of Hinduism, the third largest religion in the world.

The book has received positive responses from the Indian community for its beautiful explanations on Christian and Hindu beliefs, including the answers to various questions like: Whom do Hindus worship? Why do they believe in reincarnation? and several others.

In the book, Zacharias writes of an imaginary conversation between Jesus and Krishna.

Subramaniam, a real–life Hindu of the twentieth century, wonders as he enters a fictitious conversation between two religious figures who have changed the lives of millions. As Jesus and Krishna respond to each other's view of life and the afterlife, they speak words straight from the texts of Christianity and Hinduism.

The fourth book in the Great Conversations series by the author, this creative narrative is for readers interested in knowing the facts about Christianity and Hinduism–and in discovering why faith really matters.

My premise is that the popular aphorism that ‘all religions are fundamentally the same and only superficially different’ is simply not true. It is more correct to say that all religions are, at best, superficially similar but fundamentally different,” he reflects. “Both Christianity and Hinduism claim to be true and legitimate. This rationally implies, then, that it does matter what you believe.”

Zacharias who holds three doctoral degrees, was born in Madras, India and later immigrated to Canada. He is the author of numerous Christian books, including Gold Medallion Book Award winner Can Man Live Without God? and bestsellers Light in the Shadow of Jihad and The Grand Weaver.

Zacharias who converted to Christianity following a suicide attempt at a very young age, later founded the Ravi Zacharias International Ministries in 1984.
