Four persons at a Christian mission institution, Karunalaya, that offers services to the poor was allegedly attacked and injured by 14 masked men.
It was reported that the assailants arrived at the institution on five motorcycles on Wednesday (July 18, 2007) evening and attacked with sticks.
The injured were rushed to the hospital and a case has been registered against the unidentified offenders and the police are on way to trace them.
While Rajiv Singh, the president of All India Catholic Union's state has accused the saffron groups, City Bajrang Dal convenor Atul Sengar has completely denied the charges.
The attacks on Christian Missionary institutions and volunteers have recently increased, and hence AICU president, Rajiv Singh demanded for a more improved security protection.
