Audio Bible to help Churches in outreach programs

Chennai – Audio Scripture Ministries (ASM), an international outreach organization, (www.asmtoday.org ) is planning to help tsunami–affected victims of southern India spiritually by providing them with audio Bibles.

According to ASM spokesman, there are many people in India who are illiterate but are seeking God. The ASM project is aimed to help them out by providing them with Scripture listening kits in their own language.

Each kit costs around US $ 50 and ASM aims to provide around 3000 of them.

According to ASM spokesman, local churches in India are finding the audio Bible very useful in reaching out to the people. “It helps the Church train and disciple new believers as it allows them to know the Scripture in their own language,” he said.
