Pope Francis has planned to visit Myanmar and Bangladesh in his apostolic journey from Nov 27 to Dec 2 this year.

Greg Burke, director of the Holy See press office, made the official announcement in a statement on Aug, 28, according to Vatican Radio. Myanmar will be visited from Nov 27 to 30 and Bangladesh from Nov 30 to Dec 2.

Burke said the Pope had welcomed "the invitation of the respective heads of state and bishops". He also revealed the logos for the trip.

The logo for visit to Myanmar shows the Pope releasing a white dove from within a heart drawn in the colors of Myanmar's flag: yellow, green, and red.

The logo for visit to Bangladesh has colored ribbons in the shape of a dove, centered with a cross raised over a water lily, Bangladesh's national flower.

In Myanmar, the pontiff will visit the cities of Yangon and Nay Pyi Taw, and in Bangladesh, he will visit Dhaka.
