Gospel singer Don Moen returns to India

Bestselling Christian singer-songwriter Don Moen is scheduled to perform in a series of concerts in India this month.

The globally-acclaimed Gospel singer will lead a worship event at the Bethel AG Church in Bangalore on January 27, 2012.

DMF (Don Moen and friends) and Sanctuary of Music are the hosts of the Bangalore event that will also include a seminar on worship and song writing.

"I'm coming back to India, and I'd like to personally invite you to attend one of my worship events while I'm there. I'll be bringing my good friend Lenny LeBlanc, whose songs like "Above All," and "There Is None Like You" have been a blessing to so many," said Moen on his visit.

On Jan. 28, Moen will perform at St Joseph's College Grounds, Bangalore, and then will head to Chennai where a concert is being planned at St. George's School on Jan. 29 and NLAG Church on Jan. 30.

On the schedule is also Coimbatore where Moen will lead a worship seminar at Bethel City Cathedral on Feb. 3 and a concert at Hindustan College on Feb. 4.

Moen is an award-winning musician with sales of over 5 million albums worldwide. Don produced 11 volumes of Worship albums for the Hosanna! Music. His first album was released in 1992.

Some of Moen's top Gospel hits include Give Thanks, God Will Make A Way, God Is Good, Shout To The Lord and Celebrate Jesus. Moen has received a Dove Award for his work on the musical "God With Us".

This would be Moen's second trip to India. In 2010, the American musician held concerts in Mumbai, Chennai and Shillong.
