Christians in Jammu & Kashmir Take Out Procession

A Palm Sunday procession was organized by Indian Evangelical Church in Jail Road, Ambphalla in Jammu.

Under the chairmanship Robin Bhatti and Raju Masih priest of the church, the procession was organized to observe the holy week of Christian faith.

Led by JKPCC Secretary and social activist Vicky Mahajan and Shoukat Peter, president of Jammu & Kashmir Joint Churches Fellowship, the procession started with special prayer and the participants sang "Hosanna" hymns proclaiming Jesus as their king and savior.

Palm Sunday marks Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem. It is also the beginning of holy week before the Easter Sunday.
