Chinese government to implement a new law that will force people of all faith to submit and evangelize about the Chinese Communist Party.

The new law has six chapters and 41 articles, and all religious groups must adhere to it starting from February 1. Additionally, it requires all religious groups to take prior permission before organizing any type of gathering.

Article 17 of the law states that "Religious organizations must spread the principles and policies of the Chinese Communist Party, as well as national laws, regulations, rules to religious personnel and religious citizens, educating religious personnel and religious citizens to support the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party, supporting the socialist system, adhering to and following the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics...."

According to CBN, one of the Chinese Catholic priest commented that "In practice, your religion no longer matters, if you are Buddhist, or Taoist, or Muslim, or Christian: the only religion allowed is faith in the Chinese Communist Party."

The government is also tightening censorship on scriptures of each religion. According to reports from The Daily Mail, the Communist Party intends to complete a "comprehensive evaluation of the existing religious classics aiming at contents which do not conform to the progress of the times."

According to Christian Headlines, if the government finds any paragraph wrong in religious books like the Bible and Quran, it will revise the lines to "reflect socialist values."

Patrick Poon, a China Researcher at Amnesty International, said, "In many ways, the Chinese government's control, including censorship of the Bible and the Quran, has twisted the doctrines of these religious texts and thus the religions. There is simply no genuine religious freedom."

Looking at the new rule, it is clear that the Chinese government is determined to uphold its Communist ideology leaving no room for other religious belief.
